7. March 2026 – Today, the final training session took place in Zenica as part of a project focused on supporting the Deaf community. Deaf participants and social workers received professional training on issues related to the Deaf community. At the end of the training, all participants were ceremonially awarded certificates.
Before the closing of the program, the project coordinator, Lupoměský, addressed the participants and expressed his appreciation for the progress and impact of the entire project. In his speech, he also emphasized the importance of cooperation between the city of Zenica and organizations representing Deaf people. According to him, it is essential to support the association and active involvement of Deaf people so that their needs and perspectives are systematically taken into account, especially in the areas of sign language interpreting and sign language education.
The aim of these activities is to strengthen communication accessibility in the long term and to support the active participation of Deaf people in society.
