14 May 2026 – today marked the opening of the first training session in Sarajevo, held at the luxurious Hills Hotel with the support of our local partner, the Association of the Deaf of Sarajevo.

Three teams presented different topics during the training. The first presentation focused on the value of identity and pride in sign language. The second introduced examples of sign language courses by levels, such as A1 and others. The final topic focused on interpreting and the role of interpreters in various settings, such as cinemas, conferences, and courts.

The Deaf participants showed great interest in all of these topics and actively joined the discussions.
